Working for Hawkins Infrastructure, Industrial Instrumentation Ltd was able to provide local support to this Taupo project.

Our Instrument Technician and Registered Electrician, Brendan McCowatt headed up the Instrumentation Lead.

The project brief involved:

  • Stainless Tubing Installation
  • Instrument Pre-Commissioning
  • Instrument Installation
  •  Pre-Commissioning of the ABB DCS
  • Process Commissioning.

At one point we had 7 technicians on-site assisting with both Instrument & Electrical components of the job.
