Company Information
Beginning - started in 1998, Industrial Instrumentation had a small beginning with its owner being the sole employee. By knocking on doors and offering services the company was slowly grown until it was feasible to take on an apprentice. At this point, a competitor's business was available and subsequently purchased. Market share took a leap ! Time passed and the continual growth has enabled the company to be where it is today.
Where - based in Auckland, and primarily servicing Auckland, work has also been carried out in Rotorua, Huntly, American Samoa, Sydney, Brisbane and New Plymouth.
What - industries covered include Pulp & Paper, Chemical, Steel, Aluminum, Refractory, Dairy, and Food.
Range - of services can be from something as simple as a temperature probe calibration, to designing, tendering, supplying, installing and commissioning a complete control system. Includes software engineering on the DeltaV platform, or alternatively, programming a Telemechanique PLC system.
Aim - simply, to make the customer happy. We are well aware of the "black box" mentality that surrounds a lot of instrument installations and work hard to bring transparency to this area of engineering. When installing a quoted job, we work until the client is happy. This could mean extra training, or more manuals, so that the customer is comfortable that they can manage their new system without those middle of the night phone calls.
